| Welcome to the Network of South Asian Professionals of the Washington DC Metropolitan Area! | | Who we are | Network of South Asian Professionals DC is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, volunteer based 501(c)(3) organization committed to identifying and celebrating the diversity of South Asians in America by promoting professional development, encouraging community service activities, raising cultural and political awareness, and providing forums for discussion of important societal issues. | | What we do | NetSAP DC provides a platform for the community to connect and develop themselves personally and professionally while also having fun and making new friends and lasting relationship! NetSAP DC organizes and delivers: - Professional Development events such as resume workshops, public speaking courses, panel events featuring successful leaders
- Community Service events such as volunteering at food banks, soup kitchens, senior center
- Cultural Awareness events such as book club meetings, tours of historical venues
- Political Awareness events such as chai chats, election watching gatherings
NetSAP DC also has clubs you can join: - Sports Club organizes events for people with an interest in sporting events and activities
- Book Club meets once a month to discuss a featured book
- Families Club provides an avenue for couples and families to connect
